The Telegram channel scheduler that can fix a post after it’s live

Telegram channels are where announcements, deals, and community updates actually get read — and where most social media tools stop. Nimply puts your channels and groups on the same planner as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn: schedule posts with buttons, silent or protected delivery, and auto-delete timers, then edit or remove them after they go out. Comments, group messages, and DMs land in one inbox.

What you can publish

Every Telegram post type, with the options Telegram actually offers

Nimply publishes to channels and groups through the official Telegram Bot API. Compose once, pick your Telegram chat next to your other accounts, and set the Telegram-specific options right in the composer.

Text posts up to 4,096 characters

Announcements, digests, long updates — with link preview on or off, so a bare URL doesn’t hijack the post with a card.

Photos, videos, GIFs & documents

Single media with a caption up to 1,024 characters — longer text follows the media as a second message. Files up to 50 MB. Mark media as a spoiler so it stays blurred until tapped.

Albums of 2 to 10 items

Group photos and videos into one album post — product drops, event recaps, before-and-afters — instead of ten separate messages.

Polls

Ask your channel or group a question and schedule it like any other post. Reactions and replies come back to the inbox.

Telegram options
  • URL buttons

Up to 3 rows of buttons under the post — shop, read more, join.

  • Silent delivery

Delivered without a notification sound. Good for late-night or low-priority posts.

  • Protected content

Subscribers can't forward or save the post.

  • Link preview

Show or hide the preview card for links in the post.

  • Spoiler media

Photos and videos stay blurred until tapped.

  • Pin after publishing

Pins the post as soon as it goes out.

  • Auto-delete

Removes the post after 24h, 48h, 3 days, or 7 days — handy for flash deals and sponsored posts.

Every Telegram post runs on the same rail as every Nimply channel: draft, approval, then the schedule.

After publishing

The only channel where a typo isn’t forever

Telegram is the one platform whose API lets a tool change a post that’s already live. Nimply uses it: open a published post in the planner, fix the price, swap a button, tighten the caption, and choose Update on Telegram. Subscribers see the corrected post; nobody sees a delete-and-repost.

Need it gone instead? Remove from Telegram takes the post down from the channel while Nimply keeps the record, so your calendar and history stay honest. Two things to know: media can’t be swapped after publishing, and posts published outside Nimply aren’t editable from it.

Update on Telegram

Edit text, buttons, and options on a live post from the planner. The post keeps its place in the channel — no delete-and-repost.

Remove from Telegram

Take a post down from the channel or group in one click. Nimply keeps the record so you can see what ran and when.

Good to know

  • Media can’t be swapped after publishing — text, caption, buttons, and options can.
  • Posts published outside Nimply aren’t editable from it.

Connecting

Add the Nimply bot as an admin. That’s the whole setup.

No BotFather, no tokens to paste, no bot of your own to babysit. You need the OWNER or ADMIN role in your Nimply workspace and admin rights on the Telegram chat.

  1. 1

    Open Telegram from Nimply

Go to Channels → Connect → Telegram → Telegram Channel or Group and click Open Telegram. Press Start in the chat with the Nimply bot.

  2. 2

Add the bot to your chat

The bot replies with Add to a channel and Add to a group buttons. Pick the chat you want to publish to.

  3. 3

    Keep the pre-selected rights

Telegram asks which admin rights to grant. Keep the ones already ticked: post, edit, delete, pin, invite users.

  4. 4

    Click Connect

Back in Nimply the chat appears with a rights checklist. Click Connect and it's on your planner. Not detected within a minute? Post /connect CODE in the chat.

Want comments too? Add the bot to the discussion group.

Comments under channel posts live in the channel’s discussion group. Nimply shows an Add bot to comments group link on the channel page — use it and comments start flowing into your inbox. Full walkthrough in the Telegram channels guide.

Inbox & moderation

Comments, group chatter, and DMs in the inbox you already use

Telegram group moderation usually means one admin with the app open at midnight. Nimply routes it all into the unified inbox next to Instagram and Facebook, with the moderation actions Telegram admins actually use.

Comments, messages & reactions as threads

Comments from the discussion group, messages in your groups, and reactions on your posts each become an inbox thread. Reply in your own words, delete what shouldn’t be there, mute a member for 24 hours, or ban them — without opening Telegram.

Your personal DMs, via Telegram Business

Route the chats you choose from your own account into the inbox: Settings → Telegram Business → Chatbots, pick the Nimply bot, and select which chats it may handle. Needs Telegram Premium (Telegram is gradually rolling out a free Chat Automation entry that does the same). Replies go out from your account inside Telegram’s 24-hour window, and the first automatic reply from an agent says it’s an assistant.

A support inbox in your brand’s name

Have a bot of your own? Paste its BotFather token and it becomes a support and lead-capture inbox under your brand, so customers write to @YourBrandBot and your team or agents answer from Nimply.

The AI workforce

Agents that moderate, draft, and answer — never publish on their own

Telegram is the channel where an always-on admin matters most, so several Nimply agents bind to it directly. Each runs on the rails you set — you pick the permission level, every decision leaves an audit note, and anything that would publish waits in your approval queue.

Automations reach Telegram too: approve or decline join requests, send a welcome message, react to member-joined and member-left triggers, and mute, ban, or send a message as an action on the automations canvas.

  • Community Moderator

Deletes scam and spam messages, mutes repeat offenders for 24 hours, and bans obvious scammers — at the permission level you choose, with an audit note for every decision.

  • Telegram Channel Editor

Three modes: editor turns links, videos, and notes into Telegram-native posts with buttons; mirror rewrites what you published on other channels for Telegram; digest recaps the channel's recent posts weekly. Everything it writes is a draft for your approval.

  • Customer Support, Sales Lead & Personal DM agents

Work your Telegram DMs and branded-bot inbox: answer questions, qualify leads, or reply as you — inside Telegram's 24-hour window, with the assistant disclosure on the first reply.

Analytics, honestly

The numbers Telegram gives us — and the ones it doesn’t

Nimply’s Telegram analytics show member counts, joins and leaves broken down by invite link, and reactions and comments per post — so you can see which invite links bring people in and which posts they actually respond to.

Views and reach are not exposed by Telegram’s Bot API, so they stay in Telegram’s built-in statistics. We won’t invent a number to fill the tile.

  • Members

  • Joins & leaves by invite link

See which link, campaign, or bio brought people in

  • Reactions per post

  • Comments per post

Telegram connections per plan

Also: the Nimply bot as your workspace remote

Separate from publishing, the same bot can sit in a private chat or team group and send publish and failure alerts, one-tap approvals, and answer /status, /queue, and /pending.

Telegram channel scheduler FAQ

Can you schedule posts to a Telegram channel?

Yes. Connect your channel or group to Nimply, write the post in the planner, and pick a date and time. Nimply publishes it through the Telegram Bot API at the scheduled moment — text, photos, videos, GIFs, documents, albums, or polls — with the same drafts, approvals, and calendar you use for your other networks.

Do I need to create a bot with BotFather or paste a token?

No. Go to Channels → Connect → Telegram → Telegram Channel or Group, click Open Telegram, press Start, and use the Add to a channel or Add to a group button. Keep the pre-selected admin rights (post, edit, delete, pin, invite users) and click Connect in Nimply. If the chat isn't detected within a minute, post /connect CODE in the chat with the code Nimply shows. You need the OWNER or ADMIN role in the workspace and admin rights on the Telegram chat.

Can I edit a Telegram post after it is published?

Yes — Telegram is the only platform where this works through the API. Open the published post in the planner, change the text, buttons, or options, and choose Update on Telegram; or choose Remove from Telegram to take it down while Nimply keeps the record. Media can't be swapped after publishing, and posts published outside Nimply aren't editable from it.

What are the limits for Telegram posts in Nimply?

4,096 characters for a text post and 1,024 for a media caption — if your caption is longer, the remaining text follows the media as a second message. Albums hold 2 to 10 photos or videos, and files can be up to 50 MB. Post options include up to three rows of URL buttons, silent delivery, protected content, link-preview on or off, spoiler media, pin after publishing, and auto-delete after 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 days, or 7 days.

Does Nimply handle Telegram comments and group moderation?

Yes. Comments arrive through your channel's discussion group (add the Nimply bot to that group using the link on the channel page), and group messages and reactions land in the same unified inbox. From a thread you can reply, delete the message, mute the member for 24 hours, or ban them. The Community Moderator agent can take those actions for you at the permission level you choose, leaving an audit note for every decision.

Can I answer my personal Telegram DMs from Nimply?

Yes, through Telegram Business. In Telegram, open Settings → Telegram Business → Chatbots, choose the Nimply bot, and pick which chats it may handle. This needs Telegram Premium on your account (Telegram is gradually rolling out a free Chat Automation entry that does the same). Replies go out from your own account, only in chats active within Telegram's 24-hour window, and the first automatic reply an agent sends tells the person they're talking to an assistant.

Does Nimply show Telegram post views and reach?

No, and we won't pretend to. Telegram's Bot API doesn't expose views or reach, so those stay in Telegram's built-in statistics. Nimply's analytics show what the API does provide: member counts, joins and leaves by invite link, and reactions and comments per post.

How many Telegram channels can I connect?

It depends on your plan: 1 on Free, 5 on Creator, 15 on Growth, and 50 on Agency. Each channel, group, personal-DM connection, or branded bot counts as one Telegram slot. Plans are flat-priced — you're never billed per connected channel.
