WhatsApp Business
Connect your own WhatsApp Business number and its chats land in the same shared inbox as your comments and DMs. Anyone on your team can pick one up, an agent can draft the reply, and the person you are talking to has one record no matter where else they reach you.
WhatsApp is an inbox channel here. There is no feed to post to, so nothing is scheduled or broadcast.
What you get
A WhatsApp number on one person’s phone is a bottleneck and a blind spot. In a shared inbox it is neither.
Assign a chat, leave an internal note, hand it over. Nobody has to unlock somebody else's phone.
Each new chat is classified on arrival, so a complaint or a buying question rises above the rest.
A support or sales agent writes the reply as an internal note. Switch on auto mode and it answers, standing down when a teammate steps in.
Someone who messages on WhatsApp and comments on Instagram is one record, once you confirm they are the same person.
Coexistence lets your team answer here while you still reply from the handset on the same number.
Connecting creates a WhatsApp Business Account that belongs to you, and Meta bills you directly for delivery.
The 24-hour rule
WhatsApp lets a business reply freely for 24 hours after the customer last wrote. After that, a message has to be one WhatsApp approved in advance. It is their rule, and it is the reason WhatsApp is not full of marketing from strangers.
Nimply works with it rather than around it. Inside the window you reply normally. Outside it, a reminder about something the person already has, like a renewal, goes as an approved template. We write those for you and submit them to Meta in your name, so you never open their tools.
No, and nobody can. WhatsApp has no feed to post to — it is a messaging app, not a place where you publish. Nimply connects WhatsApp as an inbox channel: you answer customer chats there alongside your comments and DMs from every other network. Scheduling and publishing work on the nine networks that do have feeds.
Yours. Connecting opens a window from Meta that walks you through it, and it ends with a WhatsApp Business Account and a phone number that belong to you. Meta bills you directly for message delivery, on your own card. Nimply never owns your number and never pays for your traffic.
No. Coexistence lets you keep using the phone app while the same number is connected here, so your team can answer in Nimply and you can still reply from your handset. One catch worth knowing before you start: attaching it disables broadcast lists in the app.
WhatsApp only lets a business reply freely within 24 hours of the customer's last message. That is WhatsApp's rule, not ours, and it exists so businesses cannot spam people. Outside that window you can still reach them with a template Meta approved in advance, which is the right route for things like a renewal reminder.
Yes, on the same rails as everywhere else. Attach a support or sales agent to the number and it drafts a reply to each new message as an internal note. Turn on auto mode and it replies for real, standing down the moment a teammate takes over. It can also read a spreadsheet you attach, so it quotes a live price rather than remembering one.
Two separate things. Meta charges you for delivered messages on your own WhatsApp account, at their published rates. Nimply charges AI credits for messages sent through it, from 1 October 2026. Both are shown in the app rather than buried.
Connect your number and every chat lands in the inbox your team already works in.
