Answers from your sheet
Menu, prices, hours, delivery zones, parking, dogs, corkage, wifi — one Google Sheet you keep editing. The agent reads it the moment a guest asks and says “I'll check with the team” when the answer isn't there.
🍽️ Restaurant Concierge
“Are you open Sunday?” “Table for four at eight?” “Does the risotto have nuts?” The Restaurant Concierge answers from your own menu, hours and allergen sheet, records bookings and orders for your team, and hands anything risky to a person — mid-service, at 11pm, on a Monday you are closed.
Answers from your sheet, never from memory · allergies, refunds and payments always a person · pauses when you step in

What it does
Menu, prices, hours, delivery zones, parking, dogs, corkage, wifi — one Google Sheet you keep editing. The agent reads it the moment a guest asks and says “I'll check with the team” when the answer isn't there.
It collects name, party size, date, time and a phone number, then records a reservation request. Your team confirms with one tap and the guest is told — or, in Autopilot, it confirms on the spot for the requests you allow.
Builds the order line by line from your Menu tab, reads it back with the total, asks pickup or delivery, and records it. Payment stays on your link or with the team; card numbers never travel through chat.
“Does the tart contain nuts?” gets the row from your Allergens tab with the date it was updated. “Is it safe for my allergy?” goes to a person, every time, with no way to switch that off.
Bind it to WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram at once. Guests get the same facts and tone wherever they write, and every conversation lands in one inbox with the agent's note attached.
Returning guests are recognised from People, so “the usual corner table” means something. Catering and private-dining enquiries are captured as leads with date, headcount and budget.
How much it does on its own
Setup asks what kind of place you run — casual dining, pizza and delivery, fine dining, café, food truck — and proposes sensible defaults for every kind of message. You can change any line: answer itself, answer only when a live source is connected, draft for a person to send, or leave it to a person entirely.
Everything is drafted and waits for your team. The safest start: you see a week of suggested replies before it sends one.
Routine questions — hours, menu, parking, dietary options — answered on their own. Bookings, orders and anything unusual wait for you.
Answers everything it may, confirms the bookings and orders you allow, and can create records in a connected system when you switch that on. Complaints and large parties still go to a person.
Same as during service, more on its own because nobody is here to send drafts, or a one-time “we're closed, back tomorrow at 12:00” with the rest held for the morning.
A real run, step by step
1 · Guest writes on WhatsApp
“Hi! Table for 5 next Saturday at 7:30, name Priya, one vegetarian. And is there parking?”
2 · Agent reads the thread
Full history, your restaurant profile, service hours and the policy for this kind of message — a booking under the large-party threshold.
3 · Agent checks the sheet
Policies tab → “No parking on site; Great Eastern Street car park is 3 minutes away.” Nothing about parking is invented.
4 · Agent records the request
Reservation: 5 guests, Saturday 19:30, Priya, phone, one vegetarian. Hybrid: waits in People → Requests. Autopilot with bookings allowed: confirmed, and the row appears in your sheet's Bookings tab.
5 · Guest hears back
Parking answered, booking confirmed or “the team will confirm shortly” — in your tone, with nothing promised the sheet doesn't say.
Always a person
These are locked in the product, not in a prompt. The agent relays what it knows, marks the conversation for a person, and sends one short note so the guest knows someone real is coming.
It will quote your allergen table. It will never say a dish is safe for someone.
Money back is a manager's call. The agent gathers what happened and steps aside.
From the first message, a person handles it — no scripted apology, no admission.
A pasted card number is refused, never repeated, and the thread goes to the team.
The whole picture: a week of posts planned between services, plus the concierge on your DMs.
Connect your number through Meta's official platform; the concierge answers inside the 24-hour window.

One agent answers WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger and Telegram conversations for your restaurant, so the same menu facts and house rules apply wherever a guest writes. Instagram DMs join the list as soon as Meta approves Nimply's Instagram messaging permissions, which are in review. It only replies inside conversations guests start — no broadcasts, no cold outreach.
From a Google Sheet you own. Copy our restaurant template — Menu, Allergens, Hours, Delivery, Policies and FAQ tabs — fill it in, share it with Nimply's service account, and the agent reads it live when a guest asks. Edit the sheet and the next answer changes. If you already run a reservation or ordering system that exposes an MCP server, connect it and the agent looks things up there too.
It records them. A booking or order becomes a request in People → Requests with the party size, date, time, items and contact details. In Hybrid mode the guest is told the team will confirm and you press “Confirm & tell the guest”. In Autopilot, for the kinds of request you allow, the agent confirms on the spot and the confirmation goes to the guest. If you share the sheet as an editor, every confirmed booking and order is also written into its Bookings and Orders tabs. Nimply does not manage your floor plan or availability — it never invents a free table.
Four things always go to a person, whatever mode you choose: judging whether a dish is safe for someone's allergy (it relays the allergen table with its date, never a verdict), refunds and credits, anyone saying they became ill, and deposits or card payments. If a guest pastes a card number, the agent refuses to repeat it and hands the thread over. Complaints and large parties above your threshold are a person's call by default too.
You set service hours and choose what happens outside them: carry on as during service, let the agent answer more on its own because nobody is around to send drafts, or tell guests you are closed and when you reopen, once, and hold everything else for the morning. Whenever a teammate replies in a conversation, the agent goes quiet there for a few hours, and you can pause it on any thread with one click.
Agent runs use AI credits, shown before you hire it as an estimate and after each conversation as the real number, and every plan includes an allowance. WhatsApp replies carry no Nimply charge; from 1 October 2026 Meta bills delivery of replies directly to your WhatsApp Business Account after 1,000 free replies per number per month, and the app shows that separately so nothing is hidden in the credit count.
Copy the restaurant sheet, fill in your menu and hours, connect WhatsApp, and review the concierge's first drafts before the dinner rush.
