Nimply's Android app is now available on Google Play: a free download that turns your phone into a working social media manager, with scheduling for eight networks, a unified inbox for comments and DMs, and the approval queue for your AI team.
We launched the iOS and Android apps together, and the promise is the same on both: everything you actually need to run social when you are away from the desk, in your pocket, synced to the same workspace you use on the web.
Built for the moments social media actually happens
Social media does not happen at a desk. The photo worth posting gets taken in the field, the comment worth answering arrives at 9pm, and the trend worth jumping on shows up while you are in line for coffee. The Android app is built around exactly those moments:
- Share anything into the composer. Nimply registers in Android's share sheet, so a photo from your gallery, a link from Chrome, or a video from any app goes straight into the composer. Caption it yourself or let the AI assistant draft it, pick your channels, and drop it into the queue in seconds.
- Schedule without the laptop. The full social media scheduler is in the app: month and week calendar views, queue slots that fill themselves, best-time suggestions from your own audience data, and per-network tailoring when you cross-post to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, and X. Publishing happens from Nimply's servers at the scheduled time, not from your phone.
- Clear the inbox from anywhere. The unified inbox brings comments and DMs from your connected channels into one stream. Assign conversations to teammates, use saved replies for the questions you answer every day, or edit an AI-suggested reply before it goes out.
- Check what worked. Follower growth, reach, engagement, and per-post performance, with a dark mode for the late-night check-in.
Your AI team, still on rails
The same AI agents that draft posts and replies on the web are in the app, under the same rule: agents draft, you approve. New drafts arrive as push notifications you can approve or reject on the spot, each agent shows its full run history and credit costs, and a single switch pauses any agent instantly. Moving to mobile changed where you approve, not whether you do. Nothing publishes behind your back.
That also applies to teammates. Editors submit, owners and admins approve, and rejected drafts return with the reviewer's reason attached, which makes the app useful for teams managing client accounts, not just solo creators.

The app is free on Google Play and works with every Nimply plan, including the free plan and the 7-day trial; your subscription lives in your workspace, not the app. You can create an account right inside the app with Google, Apple, or email, and existing web users just sign in to find their channels, calendar, and queue already in place. One honest note: the app installs on Android tablets but is not optimized for them yet, so for tablet or desktop work we still point you to the web app.

Does the Android app work on tablets?
It installs on Android tablets but is not optimized for them. For big-screen work, the web app at app.nimply.io is the better experience.
Do scheduled posts publish if my phone is off?
Yes. Posts publish from Nimply's servers at their scheduled time. The app is where you plan, approve, and reply; the publishing itself never depends on your device being on.
Which networks can I post to from the app?
The same eight as the web platform: Instagram (professional accounts), Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn profiles, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, and X (Twitter). Channels you connected on the web are ready in the app immediately.
